Dredging is still the main waterfront activity locally. The King Company continues to work on the Holland channel. If the weather cooperates, the job could be finished soon and the way will be clear for freighters to visit.
Up in Grand Haven, they have had two visits by the tug-barge pair of Undaunted-Pere Marquette 41 delivering large stone to the Verplank dock. They also saw McKee Sons come in to take on a load of sand from the Construction Aggregates dock.
