What will likely become the Twin Ports’ first saltie of the year has just locked through the Soo Locks at Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
The Hong Kong-flagged M/V Gadwall is expected to arrive in Duluth around 1 p.m. Thursday. According to the Duluth Seaway Port Authority, the ship will go to Superior’s CHS grain facility to load approximately 23,000 tons of wheat destined for Portugal.
